Platform Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between Bureau Inc and its subsidiaries ("Company," "we," "us," "our") and the entity accessing or using our self-serve Identity Verification and Fraud Prevention services ("Customer," "you"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms set forth herein.

2. Jurisdiction and compliance

2.1 Legal Incorporation  Bureau Inc is incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States, and operates through its subsidiary in India.  ### 2.2 Regulatory Compliance  The Company complies with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India).

3. Eligibility and customer obligations

3.1 Business Eligibility  The Services are offered exclusively to B2B entities in the Fintech, Banking, and Consumer Internet sectors. The Services are not available to government agencies, NGOs, or individual consumers.

3.2 Account Registration  
Customers must provide accurate and verifiable information, including Business Name, Legal Entity, Tax Identification Number, and Authorized Contact Person

3.3 Know Your Business (KYB) Verification  
Customers must undergo KYB verification before being granted access to live services.

3.4 Compliance Obligations  
Customers shall ensure lawful use of the Services, obtain explicit end-user consent, and comply with all applicable KYC/AML regulations.

4. Scope of Services

4.1 Identity Verification and Fraud Prevention  
The Services include, but are not limited to, identity verification, fraud prevention, and related compliance solutions.

4.2 Service Availability  
The Services are available globally, except in jurisdictions subject to economic sanctions, trade restrictions, or legal prohibitions.

5. Pricing and billing

5.1 Payment Structure  
Services are offered on a prepaid, pay-per-API-call basis.

5.2 Minimum Recharge Requirement  
Customers must maintain a minimum prepaid balance of ₹1000
5.3 Refund and Cancellation Policy  
All payments are non-refundable, and cancellations are not permitted once a transaction has been processed.
5.4 Taxes  
Applicable GST and other statutory taxes shall be levied in addition to service charges.

5.5 Suspension for Non-Payment  
The Company reserves the right to suspend Services immediately in the event of an insufficient prepaid balance.

6. Data privacy and retention

6.1 Data Collection  
The Company processes personally identifiable information (PII), including but not limited to, names, ID documents, biometric data, and contact details, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

6.2 Data Retention  
Customer and end-user data shall be retained for a minimum period of two (2) years or longer as required by regulatory mandates.

6.3 Third-Party Data Sharing  
The Company may share data with financial institutions, regulatory authorities, or third-party service providers as required for compliance or service functionality.

7. Liability and disclaimers

7.1 No Accuracy Guarantee  
The Company does not warrant that the Services will be 100% accurate and expressly disclaims liability for false positives or false negatives in verification results.

7.2 Limitation of Liability  
Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for business losses, reputational harm, or consequential damages resulting from verification errors or service disruptions.

7.3 Indemnification  
Customers shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any claims, penalties, or damages arising from their misuse of the Services or non-compliance with legal obligations.

8. Service level agreement (SLA) and support

8.1 Best-Effort Service  
The Company does not provide any guaranteed uptime commitments.

8.2 Support Availability  
Customer support is available via email on business days, with a response time of four (4) business hours.

8.3 Planned Downtime  
The Company shall provide reasonable prior notice of planned maintenance or service interruptions.

9. Governing law and dispite resolution

9.1 Governing Law  
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

9.2 Jurisdiction  
Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

10. Amendments to this Policy

10.1 Modification Rights  
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice.

10.2 Acceptance of Amendments  
Continued use of the Services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
